I'm really excited to be part of the Yarra Valley Arts Open Studios that is coming up in September, October & November. This year they are splitting the Open Studios over three months and three areas as the valley is so spread out, which will mean more people can get to more open studios and meet more new artists, which is great news. I thought I'd run a pastel workshop on 24 June to help budding artists with tricky things like eyes and feathers, and was really amazed at the take up. I love being invited to exhibit my work, it gives me a real thrill, so when Tracey rang from Wyreena Community Arts Centre and invited me to take part in a joint exhibition and submit 8 pieces to hang, I was delighted. The exhibition will run for the months of May and June and the venue is a great building tucked away on Hull Road
