I love being invited to exhibit my work, it gives me a real thrill, so when Tracey rang from Wyreena Community Arts Centre and invited me to take part in a joint exhibition and submit 8 pieces to hang, I was delighted.

The exhibition will run for the months of May and June and the venue is a great building tucked away on Hull Road in Croydon with great Tudor style buildings set in gorgeous gardens and our exhibition is in The Arts Lounge which is a really lovely space.

On Sat 14 May from 10am to 3pm you can come along and meet the artists and chat to them about their works.  I’ll be there – it’d be great to see you.  There’s a conservatory cafe next door so you can wander the exhibition and or the gardens and if you’ve little ones they can play in the cool new play are outside and then you can enjoy a sit down and a coffee with lunch or cake and enjoy being surrounded by art in such a beautiful spot.

I decided to hang eight very different works to show how many diverse forms I create in – including pastel, watercolour and oil. Here’s a sneak peek at three of the pieces I’ve included in the exhibition:

Africa Blue, watercolour 44 x 44 cm
