This exhibition running for the month of June at Art at Linden Gate is a must see for anyone interested in wildlife and I’m thrilled to be exhibiting two paintings, two matted paintings (unframed) and a selection of cards at it.

The exhibiting artists are also doing some demonstrations and next Saturday, 16 June between 2-4.00pm, Marloes Bakker-Marsden will be taking a ‘Doodling for Relaxation’ session which sounds great fun, especially as it says no artistic talent needed :-)

I will be doing a demonstration session the following Saturday, 23 June also between 2-4.00pm, working on a nearly complete acrylic on canvas titled ‘Olive backed Sun Bird’ where I’ll show how you layer in acrylic, to build up the texture of feathers and the use of highlights to ‘punch up’ colours.
