I’m really excited to be part of the Yarra Valley Arts Open Studios that is coming up in September, October & November.

This year they are splitting the Open Studios over three months and three areas as the valley is so spread out, which will mean more people can get to more open studios and meet more new artists, which is great news.  I know in previous years many people have been disappointed they haven’t been able to get to as many studios as they’d like given how spread out we all are.

So here are the dates to put into your diaries now:

Maroondah (Healesville area) – Studios Open 9 & 10 September

• Grand Exhibition:  30 August –  10 October at Memo Gallery, Healesville

Melba  (Yarra Glen area) – Studios Open 14 & 15 October

• Melba Exhibition: 11 – 17 October (tbc) at Coombe Yarra Valley, Coldstream

Warburton  –  Studios Open 11 & 12 November

• Warburton Exhibition:  26 October – 15 November at the Waterwheel Gallery, Warburton
